Alec Fenichel began their career in 2012 as a Software Engineer Intern at GE Aviation. In 2014, they became an R&D Engineer Intern at BMW Group. In 2015, they joined TransNexus as CTO/Software Architect, where they designed, developed, deployed, and maintained ClearIP. As architect and lead developer on the project, they developed a distributed, stateless SIP server written in JavaScript using Node.js with Redis and Apache Kafka databases, as well as a distributed, stateless RESTful API written in JavaScript using Sails.js and Node. This provided toll-fraud prevention, robocall prevention, STIR/SHAKEN, and LCR with linear scalability using microservice architecture.
Alec Fenichel attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
