Mário Mouraz is an accomplished entrepreneur and angel investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently serving as an Angel Investor at AngelsWay since June 2024, Mário supports Portuguese-based early-stage startups aimed at leveraging technology for societal benefit. As the Founder and CEO of Climber RMS since February 2015, Mário has developed a revenue management tool that assists hotels in optimizing pricing strategies. Mário co-founded and serves on the board of TRANSITAR, a non-profit focused on sustainable transitions, and is a facilitator for Climate Fresk, a workshop addressing climate change. As an ambassador for Sandbox, Mário connects young innovators globally, and previously participated as a YTILI Fellow, fostering transatlantic innovation. Mário's educational background includes a Purpose-Driven Business Course in Sustainability Studies from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, a Master's in Hospitality Management, and an MBA Exchange Programme in Peru.
