Scott Taylor, P.Eng., is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in dam safety and hydro engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Dam Safety Engineer at TransAlta, Scott has held various leadership roles including Supervisor of Dam Safety and Environment and Manager of Hydro Engineering. Prior to TransAlta, Scott managed Water Resources and Dam Safety and was the Lead Engineer for Dam Safety. Scott began their career as a Geological Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger. Scott holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 1993 and 1999.
