Rashmi Vadlakonda is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a SMART Transformation SME and previously as Manufacturing Engineer III and Additive Manufacturing Applications Engineer at Trane Technologies since June 2019. Prior to this role, Rashmi worked as an Additive Manufacturing Applications Engineer at Ingersoll Rand, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant focused on powder recyclability for laser powder bed fusion at the NC State Center for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics. Rashmi's earlier experience includes positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, investigating process-structure-property relationships in electron beam melted titanium alloys, and at Cyient, conducting studies on metal 3D printing applications in aircraft engines. Rashmi holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
