Patrick McSorley, P. Eng, is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and maintenance of engineering systems. Currently at Tramac Corporation since June 2021, Patrick specializes in designing hydraulic boom systems for mining applications, utilizing fluid mechanics and hydraulic principles in heavy machinery. Prior to this role, Patrick worked as a mechanical designer at Muscle Mate Equipment Ltd, where custom material handling equipment was developed. Earlier experience at Ideal Roofing Co. Ltd. included routine machinery maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies from Collège La Cité.
