Haroon Patel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in internal auditing, tax, and supply chain management. Currently serving as Group Senior Internal Auditor at Talley's Limited since July 2024, Haroon previously held the role of Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager at Unilever, where responsibilities included ensuring tax compliance for the Australian and New Zealand businesses. Haroon's prior experience includes positions at Defy Appliances, where stock management controls were implemented, and a significant tenure at Unilever in various roles focused on tax processes, risk management, and internal audits. Haroon began the career at BDO Spencer Steward as a Trainee Accountant and has built a strong educational background with qualifications from Certified Institute of Management Accountants and University of South Africa, complemented by a certificate in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
