James (Jim) Brockbank has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software engineering. James (Jim) currently serves as the Head of Software Engineering at TrakCel since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ITM - Independent Data Consultants as the Head of Technology Solutions from June 2021 to November 2022. James (Jim) joined ITM through the acquisition of Profund where they held a similar role. Before that, they were the IT Development/Delivery Manager at Brightside Insurance from 2016 to 2019, and a Development/Delivery Manager at Debenhams from 2012 to 2016. James (Jim)'searlier experience includes being a Software Development Manager at TransUnion (formerly Callcredit) from 2005 to 2012, and working as a Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer at various companies from 1998 to 2005. Jim's expertise lies in leading teams, implementing solutions, and managing development and delivery.

James (Jim) Brockbank pursued their education at Aston University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in September 2010, they obtained a certification as a Prince2 Practitioner from APMG.
