Damian R. has an extensive work experience in the education sector. In 2021, they were appointed as the HOW2 Director of Partnerships and Teaching and Learning at Train Visual. Damian also held the role of Head Of School- Digital, Creative and the Arts - London and Interim Head of Department- Creative Media, Art & Design,Performing Arts, Music,Digital & Computing at Westminster Kingsway College. In 2020, they were the Interim Senior manager - Health & Social care, Early years, Business, IT & AAT - London at Morley College and the Interim Management- Senior Manager, Business, Computing (IT), Legal Secretary and AAT- London at Epping Forest College. In 2019, they were the Interim Quality Assurance at South Essex College of Further and Higher Education. From 2018 to 2008, they held various roles at MidKent College, such as Head Of Department, Health & Social Care , Early Years, Business studies, ICT & AAT, Advanced Practitioner, Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Equality and Diversity champion and Health and Social Care and Public Services Lecturer.

Damian R. began their educational journey in 2001 at Hugh Christie Technology College. From 2006 to 2008, they attended MidKent College and obtained a Public Services Extended Diploma in Public Services. In 2009 to 2011, they attended the University of Kent and obtained a Teaching in the lifelong learning sector DTTLS in Further Education. In 2018, they completed a TAQA in Assessing at MidKent College. In 2019, they completed Leading from the Middle in Management at Further Education associates. Lastly, in 2020, they obtained a Level 3 in SEN- Special Educational Needs from CIPD Qualifications.
