Matthew Werner, MBA, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Trailborn since April 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Hotel Asset Value Enhancement (hotelAVE) from September 2021 to April 2023, including Assistant Vice President, Senior Director, and Director of Advisory and Asset Management, contributing to the oversight of over 1,000 hotel assets. Earlier experience includes serving as VP of Real Estate and Senior Asset Manager at Shemel Acquisitions from May 2016 to November 2021, and as General Manager at Hotel 32 32 from June 2010 to May 2016. Matthew holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Zicklin School of Business, earned between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan, completed in 2009.
