Marc Ilunga is a seasoned security engineer with extensive experience in cryptography and information security. Currently serving as Security Engineer II (Cryptography) at Trail of Bits since September 2022, Marc previously worked at SEC Consult (Schweiz) AG from July 2019 to January 2022, where responsibilities included web application security audits, network security audits, and leading the Cryptography Competence Center. Earlier roles encompassed positions as Associate Security Consultant and System Administrator at crowdhouse.ch, along with an internship in cryptography at EPFL under the guidance of Dr. Anja Becker. Marc holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Information Security from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Systems from EPFL.
