Fayaz Ibrahim is a highly experienced psychiatrist with a diverse background in psychiatric care, teaching, and research. Since October 2011, Fayaz has worked as a Staff Psychiatrist at Traditions Behavioral Health, providing care at various hospitals in Northern California. Previously, Fayaz served as a Staff Psychiatrist and Vice Chair of the Physician Review Committee at the California Department of State Hospitals, leading a multidisciplinary team in managing patients with severe mental illness. Educationally, Fayaz holds an MD from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University and has been involved in academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Additional roles include Vice Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at KDHCD - UC Irvine and a Research Associate focusing on geriatric psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
