Sophia Mertins has a diverse work experience. Sophia worked as a Client Success EMEA at Trading Central starting from March 2020. Prior to that, they were at GKFX as a Head Of Client Services from September 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they managed a small team, handled client communications, and managed client information deletion requests. Before that, they worked as a Client Services Associate at GKFX from October 2016 to September 2018. In this role, they handled client inquiries, resolved trading disputes, and assisted with technical queries. Sophia also has experience outside of the finance industry as a Producer at the International Fashion Showcase during London Fashion Week 2016. Sophia was responsible for sourcing equipment, negotiating rates, and fundraising. In addition to these roles, they were a Manager at Kurz and Lang from May 2011 to August 2015. In this position, they managed daily operations, hired and trained staff, and oversaw deliveries and stock levels.

Sophia Mertins attended the Deutsche Schule in Guatemala for their primary and secondary education. Sophia then pursued their passion for acting and theatre studies at the Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramatico in Guatemala from 2004 to 2005. Later, they expanded their academic horizons by studying Creative Writing at the University of Oxford from 2012 to 2014.
