Alessandra Stagliano

Managing Director, Head Of EU Sales at Tradeweb

Alessandra Stagliano has a strong background in fixed income credit sales. Alessandra started their career at Daiwa Securities as a Junior Economist from November 1996 to March 1998. Alessandra then moved on to Morgan Stanley, where they worked as an Associate in fixed income sales Italy from March 1998 to September 2001. At Morgan Stanley, they focused on coverage of Italian retail banks and successfully developed the fixed income franchise with insurance companies.

Following their time at Morgan Stanley, Alessandra joined Citi as a Director in fixed income credit sales from September 2001 to September 2010. Initially hired to expand the company's footprint with Italian real money accounts for credit products, they later transitioned to covering hedge funds and bank desks. During their tenure at Citi, they increased sales volumes by 50% and market share by 30%.

From October 2010 to January 2015, Alessandra worked at BNP Paribas as a Director in fixed income credit sales. In this role, they were responsible for providing access to various credit flow products, including cash bonds, credit derivatives, options, index products, and structured products. Alessandra'scoverage included key hedge funds and bank desks.

In 2015, Alessandra joined Magna Capital Ltd. as a Fixed Income Sales professional from October 2015 to January 2016. Alessandra then moved to Banca IMI, where they worked as an Executive Director in Fixed Income Credit Sales from January 2016 to February 2017.

Most recently, Alessandra held various roles at Tradeweb. Alessandra served as a Director in Credit Specialist Sales from March 2017 to March 2018. From April 2018 to March 2020, they were the Director and Head of Sales for France, Italy, and Iberia. Later, they were promoted to Managing Director in March 2020 and then to Head of EU Sales in June 2020.

Alessandra Stagliano earned a degree in political economics (laurea in economia) from Universita Luigi Bocconi between 1990 and 1996. In 1994, they briefly studied economics at Keio University.
