Carl Thorne-Thomsen is an experienced leader in market development and product management, currently serving as the Director of Market Development at Tradewater since May 2024. With a strong background in SaaS product strategy acquired through self-employment as a Go-to-Market consultant, Carl has also held significant roles at Civitas Learning, including Regional Vice President and Senior Product Manager, where the focus was on leveraging data to enhance student success in higher education. An MBA graduate from Texas McCombs School of Business, Carl has received multiple awards for academic excellence and leadership, and has been active in various extracurricular roles, including Chair of the MBA Legacy Committee and as a board fellow for the Texas Tribune. Prior teaching experience in mathematics and coaching at Kimball High School and engagements with Teach for America provide a foundation for Carl’s commitment to education and community.
