Gary Makries has extensive experience in retail management and training, currently serving as Training Store Manager at Office Depot since March 2020. Their career includes significant roles such as General Manager at Geeks of Doom, where Gary reviews various media and interviews authors, and as a Freelance Artist specializing in murals and illustrations since 1996. Gary has also worked at Cracker Barrel as Retail Training Manager, where responsibilities included training new managers, and held various management positions at Belk and Borders, overseeing sales and staffing. In addition, Gary serves as an Ordained Minister with Universal Life Church, officiating non-traditional weddings. Gary graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University.
