Taahir Cassim is an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Engineer at Toyota Motor Corporation since April 2019, Taahir works in the Tahara Plant Quality division for commercial vehicles. Prior to this role, Taahir has held multiple positions at Toyota South Africa, including Principal Engineer since January 2015 and Candidate Principal Engineer from January 2013 to December 2014, as well as an in-service trainee in 2012. Taahir holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Durban University of Technology, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed from 2009 to 2011. Early education was at Nizamia Islamic School from 1998 to 2006.
