Jiawei Zhou is a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) since September 2023. Previously, Jiawei worked as a researcher at Microsoft Semantic Machines, focusing on incremental semantic parsing for program graphs to improve dialogue systems, and at IBM, where research centered on semantic parsing using deep learning techniques. Additionally, Jiawei served as an applied scientist at Amazon, investigating non-autoregressive neural machine translation, and completed a research internship at SONY (China) CO., LTD, studying interference control in cognitive radio networks. Jiawei holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering Science and a Master of Arts (MA) in Statistics from Harvard University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University.
