Lucas Smith is an accomplished leader in agile methodologies with extensive experience in program management and training. Currently serving as the Director of Agile and Program Services at Toyota Connected North America since May 2018, Lucas has played a pivotal role in enabling agile practices across the division. Prior positions include Senior Manager and Head of Agile Practice at Toyota, where Lucas led efforts in defining the future of mobility, and Professional Scrum Trainer at Scrum.org, recognized as one of the few Professional Scrum Trainers in the U.S. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Boeing, where Lucas drove the transition to agile development and effectively managed teams of engineers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from George Mason University.
