Ana Luísa Fernandes is a Material Engineer currently employed at Toyota Boshoku Europe N.V. since July 2024. Previously, Ana held the position of Innovation Application Engineer at Lawter, Inc. from October 2020 to June 2024, where responsibilities included leading innovation projects focused on bio-based additives for polymer processing, conducting laboratory-scale operations, and improving product reliability in bioplastics. Ana's experience also includes roles at Plastipak and Intraplás, where significant contributions were made to research and development of PET materials, including process optimization and material characterization. Ana holds a Master of Science in Polymer Engineering from Universidade do Minho, earned between 2015 and 2020.
