Alexis Garloff is an experienced forensic science professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice at Towson University, where responsibilities include teaching courses in forensic crime analysis. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant and Laboratory Assistant in Dr. Dana Kollmann's research lab, focusing on the preservation of human identity during bone processing, and an Undergraduate Researcher under Dr. Kelly Elkins, presenting research at several significant forensic conferences. Additional experience encompasses a position as Forensic Scientist I at the Baltimore Police Department and a Biology Unit Intern at the Maryland State Police. Alexis also instructed high school students on forensic science through the Putney Pre-College Program. Academically, Alexis holds a Master of Science in Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University.
