Kurt Johnson is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in radio programming and management. Since 2011, Kurt has served as the President of Local Programming at Townsquare Media, overseeing content for 321 radio stations across 68 markets. Prior to this role, Kurt held the position of Vice President at CBS Radio from 2001 to 2011, managing programming for six Dallas stations and serving as Format VP for twelve Adult Hits stations. Earlier career highlights include Operations Manager at AMFM Radio, Program Director at Viacom for New York's #1 station WLTW, and Program Director at RKO General. Kurt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1981 to 1986.
