Arish Akanda is currently the Managing Director of Credit Underwriting & Operations in CMBS & Real Estate Finance at Townhouse Partners Consulting since 2010. Prior to that, Arish worked at Credit Suisse in the Longevity Markets division and at Citi in Commercial Real Estate Finance and CMBS. Arish holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, History, and Philosophy from Indiana University Bloomington. Arish's expertise includes CMBS, balance sheet lending, agency lending, securitization support, and loan surveillance across various asset types such as office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, manufactured housing, student housing, and senior housing. Transaction range experience is from $1MM to $1BN.
