Irini Scordi-Bello is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in forensic medicine and education. Currently serving as a Medical Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since December 2016, Irini previously held the same position at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner from 2008 to 2016. Additionally, Irini has contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor in Anatomic Pathology at The Mount Sinai Hospital from July 2009 to May 2011. Alongside a long-term role as a Spin Instructor at NYSC Town Sports International since 2002, Irini's educational background includes earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara.
