Linda Zhai is currently the Manager of Financial Services at the Town of Port Hedland, a position held since February 2022. Prior to this role, Linda served as the Principal Financial Analyst for the Department of Education in Western Australia from July 2021 to February 2022 and worked at Curtin University as a Senior Accountant from August 2011 to July 2021. Linda’s expertise includes managing treasury and investment portfolios, overseeing annual statutory financial statements, budgeting, forecasting student revenue, and coordinating with various stakeholders for student fee matters. Earlier in Linda's career, experience included roles such as Principal Audit and Audit Manager at the Office of the Auditor General for Western Australia and Senior Auditor at R J Campbell & Associates. Linda holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) as of 2007.
