Jose Alfredo Mendez is a skilled planning professional with a diverse background in urban and regional planning. Currently serving as the Hillside Development Planner for the Town of Paradise Valley since December 2021, Mendez has prior experience as a Land Use Planner at Vinculums Services, LLC, and as a Planning Technician for the City of Monrovia and the City of Baldwin Park. Mendez's roles involved responding to public inquiries, reviewing development applications, and providing essential planning documents and guidance on zoning regulations. Mendez's foundational experience includes internships focused on preservation planning and historic resources. Mendez holds two Bachelor's Degrees from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, one in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and another in Fine and Studio Arts.
