Katie King currently serves as Part-Time Faculty at Boston University's Metropolitan College, teaching Public Finance and Infrastructure. Since June 2020, Katie has held the position of Deputy Town Manager for the Town of Needham, MA, following a role as Assistant Town Manager/Director of Operations. Prior experience includes multiple leadership roles in the City of Boston's Mayor's Office of Intergovernmental Relations from April 2013 to June 2019, as well as positions at the American Lung Association and the American Cancer Society focused on health promotion and advocacy. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Boston University School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston University.
