Steve Bartha currently serves as the Town Manager for the Town of Lexington since November 2024. Prior to this role, Steve was the Town Manager for the Town of Danvers from December 2014 to November 2024 and served as the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Avon, CT from June 2010 to November 2014. Steve's earlier experiences include positions as a Leadership Associate (Budget Analyst) at the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management and as a Management Assistant for the City of Ann Arbor. Steve began a career in local government as a Management Intern for the Town of Farmington, CT and has prior experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut's Department of Public Policy and as a Secondary English educator with Teach for America. Steve holds a Masterā€™s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Local Government Management and Public Finance from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University James Madison College.
