Rebekah East, MPA, serves as the Purchasing and Budget Manager for the Town of Kernersville since August 2016, having previously held the position of Purchasing and Budget Administrator. Prior experience includes roles as a Grant Administrator Consultant at Martin-McGill, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, and as a Graduate and Research Assistant at Appalachian State University from 2013 to 2014. Earlier in the career, Rebekah East worked as an Advocate and Case Manager at Family Services, Inc. from 2009 to 2013, and as a Mental Health Counselor at UHS Old Vineyard Behavioral Health from 2008 to 2010. Rebekah East earned a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Administration from Appalachian State University in 2014, following a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution in 2007.
