Catherine Garner, AICP, CZO has a diverse work experience in the field of community development and planning. Prior to that, Catherine completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography and Urban Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2011.
In addition to their academic achievements, Catherine has also earned several certifications related to their field. In May 2019, they obtained the AICP (American Planning Association) certification. Catherine also holds the Certified Zoning Official certification, which they obtained from both the North Carolina Association of Zoning Officials in April 2019 and the VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF ZONING OFFICIALS in September 2017.
