Skylar Thomas is an experienced professional in recreation and sports management, currently serving as a Senior Recreation Coordinator for the Town of Fountain Hills since September 2021, following the role of Recreation Coordinator in the same organization. Prior experience includes a position as Recreation Programmer for the City of Avondale, AZ from September 2020 to September 2021, and several roles at Old Dominion University, including Athletics Marketing Coordinator and Intern from September 2017 to August 2020. Additional experience in parks and recreation was gained at the City of Virginia Beach, where Skylar held various Aide positions from December 2017 to August 2020. Early career experience includes managerial roles at Clarks from June 2014 to November 2017. Skylar holds a Master of Sport Management and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Old Dominion University.
