Melanie Dineen is an experienced food science professional with a diverse background in environmental health and food technology. Currently serving as Division Manager for the Town of Concord, MA since April 2022, Melanie previously worked as a Grant Coordinator for the Town of Wakefield and as a Sanitarian for the City of Medford. Earlier roles include Environmental Health Inspector at the Danvers Health Department and Senior Food Technologist at Bake'n Joy Foods, where Melanie led product development and process optimization initiatives. Additionally, Melanie has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at North Shore Community College, and held the position of Senior Applications Technologist at SunOpta Food Ingredients, focusing on stabilizer systems for various food products. Melanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
