Charles Doody serves as the Town Administrator for the Town of Canton, MA since October 2022, following a notable tenure as a Technical Consultant at Mark Morse Associates from 2015 to January 2023, where expertise was provided to municipalities seeking to conduct promotional assessment centers in public safety. A distinguished career in the Canton Fire Department spanned from April 1994 to January 2023, progressing through various roles including Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Fire Lieutenant, and Firefighter. Additionally, Charles held the position of Emergency Management Director for the Town of Canton from November 2009 to January 2023. Early in the career, Charles gained experience as a Special Education Teacher and a coach at Cohasset Jr./Sr. High School from September 1992 to June 1994. Education includes a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of New Hampshire, completion of the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy, a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University.
