Andrew Warren currently serves as the Planning and Building Director for the Town of Blacksburg, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Christiansburg, VA, from July 2018 to October 2024. Andrew's experience also includes serving as the Planning Director for the Town of Christiansburg from February 2016 to July 2018, as well as a Senior Planner/Zoning Administrator and Development Administrator for the Town of Blacksburg from January 2005 to February 2016. Andrew holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Administration from Virginia Tech, obtained between 2000 and 2002, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech, completed from 1992 to 1995.
