Richard Scanlon is a seasoned professional in municipal assessment with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Assessor Consultant for the Town of Marblehead, Massachusetts, since August 2024, Richard also holds the position of President of the Middlesex County Assessors Association and works as a Consultant at Municipal Financial Services LLC. Richard has held several associate roles with the City of Beverly and the City of Somerville since June 2021 and October 2018, respectively, while also continuing an ongoing role with the Town of Billerica since 1993. Richard's leadership experience includes serving as Interim Chief Assessor in both the City of Leominster and Town of Concord. Richard began career as Chief Assessor for the Town of Billerica, holding that position from 1993 to July 2021. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
