Heerad Farkhoor is a Quant at Tower Research Capital since September 2023, with previous experience as a Quant at Millennium and a role in various projects during Garden Leave at Citadel. Farkhoor specializes in equities statistical arbitrage and has a strong background in quantitative research, having worked on predicting stock prices using machine learning and statistical modeling. Significant past roles include Research Scientist at Uber AI Labs, where deep learning and reinforcement learning research was conducted, and Senior Data Scientist focusing on marketplace optimization. Farkhoor’s early career includes positions at Twitter as a Data Scientist and Gray Whale Capital as an Assistant Trader Intern. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
