Shai Abend is an accomplished director and guide with extensive experience in creative tourism, cultural activities, and Jewish heritage in Uruguay. Since 2014, Shai has held leadership roles at Guatú: Experiencias Creativas and Bereshit: The Jewish Experience, while also serving as a local guide with ToursByLocals and guiding groups in Poland for the International March of the Living. Shai has a strong background in education as the Jewish Studies Director at Universidad Católica del Uruguay and previously coordinated initiatives on emotional intelligence in education. Notably, Shai has contributed to the Jewish Community of Uruguay through various leadership positions and founded youth programs promoting engagement and cultural involvement.
