Roland Ruitenschild is a seasoned drilling engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Drilling Engineering Consultant at Tourmaline Oil Corp since January 2015, Roland specializes in drilling engineering for Alberta and British Columbia. Prior to this, a Senior Drilling Engineer at Athabasca Oil Corporation from 2011 to 2014, Roland played a key role in planning and executing drilling programs, including for the Duvernay and Montney projects. Roland's career includes significant positions at Chevron from 1994 to 2011, where roles ranged from Drilling Supervisor to Drilling Engineering Advisor, contributing to various operations in Kazakhstan, Angola, and deepwater projects. Roland holds a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta, obtained between 1988 and 1994.
