Blair Read is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Production/Completions Engineer at Tourmaline Oil Corp since April 2017, overseeing operations in the South Spirit River field. Prior to this role, Blair was a Production Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited from May 2014 to April 2017, managing capital expenditure and optimizing production across multiple fields and gas plants in the Ferrier North area. Earlier experience at Canadian Natural Resources Limited also includes serving as a Production Engineer for the South Brintnell field and as a Facilities/Process Engineer in the Thermal department from July 2005 to January 2014. Blair holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed between 2000 and 2005, and graduated from McNally High School from 1997 to 2000.
