Bede Fennell currently serves as the Executive General Manager of Corporate Affairs, Government and Industry at Tourism Australia since November 2019. Previous roles include Group Head of Government & Industry Affairs at Lendlease from July 2017 to January 2019, General Manager of Corporate Affairs at Asciano between July 2015 and November 2016, and General Manager of Government and Industry at Orica from January 2013 to July 2015. Bede Fennell also held positions at British American Tobacco as International Regulatory Affairs Manager and Head of Public Affairs from 2005 to 2012, and worked with the Liberal Party of Australia in various roles from 1995 to 2005, including State Director for the NSW Division. Bede Fennell holds Bachelor's Degrees in Communication (Broadcast Journalism) from Charles Sturt University and Law from The Australian National University.
