Michael White is an accomplished scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and microbiology. Currently serving as Group Lead at Touchlight since October 2024, Michael previously held positions as Senior Scientist and Scientist at OXGENE from September 2019 to November 2024. Earlier experience includes a role as Postdoctoral Research Associate at Newcastle University, where development of a conjugation-based method for microbial community modifications was undertaken. Additional experience includes a brief stint as a Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield. Michael earned a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from The University of Sheffield, as well as an MRes and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Microbiology and Microbiology, respectively, from the University of Nottingham.
