Karen Oliver has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Karen began their career as a Production Scientist at Cytocell Ltd in 1999. Karen then worked as a Research Assistant at Oxford University, NDCLS from 2001 to 2003, followed by a role as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Animal Health in 2003. From 2004 to 2006, Karen was a Research Assistant at the ancient biomolecule centre. Karen then joined Emergent BioSolutions as a Molecular Biologist from 2006 to 2009. Karen then moved to Touchlight Genetics Ltd, where they held various roles, including Senior Scientist and Lab Manager from 2009 to 2015, Group Leader - Touchlight DNA (Manufacturing) Services from 2015 to 2019, Head of Production from April 2019 to September 2019, and currently serves as the Head of Continuous Improvement.
