Alex serves as a Junior Analyst. In this role he is responsible for staying up to date with developments in the energy sector and the macroeconomic environment in general. As a member of the energy portfolio team, his core role is to support the investment team by conducting thorough industry and company research, maintaining investment models, and listening to quarterly earnings calls. Alex graduated from Trinity University where he double majored in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics. While at Trinity, he served as his fraternity's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair. Prior to TortoiseEcofin, he interned at Prosperity Advisors, a financial planning firm.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing golf and tennis, snowboarding and playing the bass guitar. He is also a huge KC sports fan and considers himself a bit of a trivia geek.
