Alexandra Chen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare sector. Alexandra worked as a Transitional Care Coordinator and Physiotherapist at Toronto Grace Health Centre since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Rehabilitation Consultant in Neuro-Oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre since August 2022. Alexandra also has experience as a Physiotherapist at the University Health Network, where they worked in the field of Neuro-Rehabilitation. Alexandra held multiple roles at the KITE Innovation and Rehabilitation Clinics, where they integrated best practices and research into clinical practice to improve the quality of life and functional independence of a neurological population. In addition, Alexandra worked as a Physiotherapist at the Assistive Technology Clinic from January 2018 to November 2018.

Alexandra Chen completed their Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University, graduating in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a MyndMove Instructor Certificate from MyndTec in December 2019. Alexandra also holds a Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance Approach certification from the International Cognitive Approach Network, which they obtained in March 2021. Furthermore, Alexandra acquired an Acupuncture Canada Certificate - Level 1 from Acupuncture Canada in September 2021. Most recently, they obtained an AI for Clinician Champions certification from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN in February 2023.
