Ricardo Fuentealba is a qualified geologist with extensive experience in exploration and mining. Currently serving as a geologist at Torex Gold Resources Inc. since August 2024, Ricardo has previously held positions at Austral Gold Limited as a geólogo de exploración and a junior geologist, focusing on brownfield exploration and prospect delineation. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate researcher at Núcleo Milenio Trazadores de Metales, where projects involved IOCG deposit exploration, surface mapping, and advanced analytical techniques. Initial professional experience includes internships as a mine geologist at Guanaco Compañía Minera Ltda., working in both underground mines. Ricardo holds a Master of Science in Geology from the Universidad de Chile, where both Bachelor and Geologist degrees were also obtained.
