Victor Dobre has a strong background in finance and investment banking. Victor is currently serving as the Managing Director at Torch Partners since April 2021. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at UBS, where they held various roles over a span of 16 years. Victor'smost recent position at UBS was as an Executive Director from March 2015 to January 2021. Victor also served as a Director from March 2012 to February 2015, Associate Director from July 2008 to February 2012, and Analyst from March 2007 to June 2008. Victor began their career as an Analyst at UBS in July 2005. Victor gained early experience as a Summer Intern at Societe Generale in 2004.

Victor Dobre completed their Baccalaureate degree at Liceul Nicolae Kretzulescu from 1996 to 2000. Victor then pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management at Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti from 2000 to 2002, achieving a 9.3/10 grade. Furthermore, they obtained a BSc degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2005.
