Valerie Lycas is a seasoned program and project manager with extensive experience in both robotics and manufacturing sectors. At Torc Robotics since June 2017, Valerie has held various roles, culminating in the position of Manager of Program Management, where the focus has been on building program management teams and overseeing organizational planning activities. Previously, Valerie's roles included Senior Project Manager in both autonomous trucking and defense vehicles, demonstrating adeptness in agile methodologies, cross-functional team management, and establishing standardized project management processes. Before joining Torc Robotics, Valerie spent over five years at Kollmorgen as Operations Manager and Area Manager, managing multimillion-dollar revenue streams and ensuring project delivery within the defense and commercial vehicle sectors. Valerie's academic background includes a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics, both from Virginia Tech.
