Karan Bhargava

Senior Autonomy Engineer - Localization at Torc Robotics

Karan Bhargava is a skilled engineer specializing in autonomy with extensive experience in the development of technologies for autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Senior Autonomy Engineer - Localization at Torc Robotics since July 2018, Karan focuses on mapping and localization challenges for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this role, Karan was a Research Scientist at Fraunhofer USA CESE, where computer vision algorithms were designed for vehicle identification and collision detection. Karan also contributed to the development of the ‘butler’ robotics product line at Grey Orange India PTE as a Hardware Research and Development Engineer. Karan's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Robotics from the University of Maryland, a Nanodegree in Self Driving Car Engineering from Udacity, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
