Chaitanya Ekre has worked in the software engineering industry since 2011. In 2011, they were a Software Engineer at Soft Systems Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing application code, writing server side applications in Java, and implementing web services. In 2012, they moved to iCEDQ Soft (Torana Inc.) as a Senior Software Engineer. At iCEDQ, they were responsible for developing new features and supporting existing features of the unified ETL Testing, Data Migration Testing, and Data Quality Governance software platform.

Chaitanya Ekre completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science between 2004 and 2008. Prior to this, they attended hadas high school nagpur.
