Shama Rasal is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in mentoring and leading design initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as a Design Mentor at topmate.io and a Design/UX Mentor for Google Launchpad since 2015, Shama guides early-stage startups in leveraging design effectively. Additional mentoring roles include UX Mentor at Springboard and previously at the Foundation for Rural Entrepreneurship Development, focusing on digital redesigns for initiatives benefiting rural Indian women. Shama has also contributed to the E-Health Research Center in Bangalore by designing the Mental Health Management System. With a strong background in UX design as the former UX Head at Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd and Lead Experience Designer at Adobe Systems, Shama's career includes pivotal positions at Nokia, shaping product and user experience across global teams. Shama holds an M. Des. in Visual Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and has participated in a leadership boot camp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
