Emily Godwin is an experienced attorney currently practicing at Tonnsen Bach Law Firm since October 2021. Previously, Emily held the attorney position at Gibbes Burton, LLC from June 2019 to September 2021. Additional legal experience includes serving as a research assistant for Jaclyn Cherry at the University of South Carolina School of Law, a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice, and a summer law clerk at Baker Ravenel & Bender, LLP. Emily also has experience as a summer intern at Anderson, McManaway, and Thomason, LLC, and a legal intern for State Senator David Thomas. Early roles included a campaign assistant and a bake assistant/cashier at Pammy the Cake Lady. Education includes a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in History with a Spanish minor from Bob Jones University.
